Grapefruit, pepper and a whiff of dusty stone on the nose.  Fleshy and slightly exotic but at the same time bright and juicy.  Offers impressive intensity and breadth, with the lingering finish offering very good grip.  Routinely one of New Zealand's elite sauvignon blanc bottlings.
