Inky ruby.  Pungent, floral-accented aromas of blackberry and cherry compote, with a slow-building vanilla quality.  Oak-spiced dark fruit flavors show a strong vanilla quality and supple texture, with some heat on the back end.  The cherry note repeats on the firmly tannic, gripping finish.
