Bright gold.  Aromas of sweet butter, poached pear and honey, with floral and herbal nuances.  Dense, juicy and dry, with good breadth to its pit fruit and pear flavors.  Provides good palate coverage but I'd like more vibrancy and lift.  The finish is smooth, faintly smoky and nicely persistent.
