Bright ruby-red.  Sexy, fragrant bouquet of raspberry, candied cherry and rose oil, plus a deeper note of black tea.  Sweet red and dark fruits on the palate, with suggestions of spicecake and candied rose adding complexity.  Sappy, open-knit and seamless on the finish, with the spicy note repeating.  I really like this wine's blend of sweet and spicy qualities; this makes a a wonderful "basic" pinot.
