Bright red.  Sexy aromas of strawberry and raspberry preserves, with slow-building spiciness and a hint of potpourri.  Supple, palate-coating red fruit flavors show an intriguing rose pastille quality and gain vivacity with air.  Finishes silky, sweet and quite persistent.  Leading with its fruit right now but there's a spine of tangy acidity that bodes well for cellaring.
