92 Points | International Wine Cellar , April 2011

Pale green-yellow. Honey-laced pineapple and lime zest make for a very enticing nose. Quite light on its feet for a Smaragd—indeed, under 13% alcohol—yet there is excellent intensity to the sweet lime and crushed stone flavors leavened by racy acidity. Finishes intense, long and delightfully refreshing. This wine gives the impression that it will remain youthful for at least seven or eight years.
