2009 Ken Wright Cellars Pinot Noir Guadalupe Vineyard Dundee Hills
Producer: Ken Wright Cellars
Style: Red Wine
Grape Type: Pinot Noir
Origin: Oregon
Region: Willamette Valley
91(+?) Points | International Wine Cellar , July/August 2011
Vivid ruby-red. Aromas of blackberry, cherry pit and licorice, with a bright whiff of rose adding lift. This chewy, taut midweight gains flesh and sweetness with air, offering deep dark berry and bitter cherry flavors and a smoky nuance. Opens up nicely with aeration and finishes with excellent spicy cut and smoky, earthy persistence. Decant this if you plan on opening a bottle in the next couple of years.
