Russian River Chardonays are always great but this one was exceptional.

DG Chardonnays are some of my all-time favorites out of California. I'm not a CA Chard lover in general but these always seem crisp and delicious.
Typical Dutton-Goldfield goodie!

Even our Francophile friends at the table enjoyed this wine. Nice notes of tropical fruit and so well-balanced. Sharp, clean finish. Good bottle.

Dutton Goldfield hits the mark with their Pinots and Syrahs. This Chardonnay is no different. Delicious.

Not what I hoped for

I have to agree w WASSERBURG13992535....I think that this is an acceptable wine. To me, it is light, fruity, w a lot of citrus. It lacks the fullness & richness that I look for in a chard (yeah....I like the old style that is so hard to find today). It is ok, a good clean chard, but does not deserve the extravagant write up it got.
Definitely NOT a Kistler

OK Chard, lighter on the oak than most California Chards and not a butter ball. Not very complex or full flavor but nice citrus flavors and decent acidity. Better California Chard than most in this price range but this wine should not be mentioned in the same breath as Kistler.
Not what I had hoped!

I think that this is an acceptable wine. It has the start of the greats (Kistler,Forman) but lacks the fullness & richness by a large mark. It is ok, a good clean chard, but does not deserve the extravagant write up it got.
