Almost impenetrable inky-ruby. Plum, blackcurrant and caramel on the nose, complemented by sexy oak spices. Broad, lush and sweet, with an exotic high-toned quality to the perfumed flavors of red berries and spices. Finishes impressively dense and horizontal, with silky tannins that avoid dryness. This is so soft and creamy-sweet that it almost seemed too simple and ready to drink, but I like its impeccable balance and silky, tactile presence. One other sample was a bit lacking in complexity.
