($35; 55% cabernet sauvignon, 30% cabernet franc and 15% merlot) Bright ruby-red. Intense black and blue fruit aromas are complemented by potpourri and smoky herbs. Broad, palate-staining blackberry and boysenberry flavors become brighter with air, showing a suave spicy character. Finishes with excellent clarity and juicy persistence, the blueberry and spice notes repeating.
