Bright ruby.  Fresh cherry and cassis on the nose, with cracked pepper and violet nuances adding complexity.  Juicy, tightly focused dark fruit flavors show very good energy and pick up a smoky quality with air.  Closes smooth and gently sweet, with lingering floral and spice notes.
