(based on 81% mourvedre, with petite sirah, peloursin, carignane, syrah and alicante bouschet):  Opaque ruby.  Sexy, highly aromatic nose evokes black raspberry, licorice, smoke, minerals and flowers.  Pliant and gently sweet, with suave dark berry and licorice flavors nicely shaped by juicy acidity.  Offers plenty of up-front sex appeal but has the depth to age.  Finishes with ripe, velvety tannins and very good spicy persistence.
