Bright purple.  Sexy, floral-accented aromas of blackberry and cassis, with a spicy quality that gains intensity with air.  Bright and focused on the palate, offering lively dark berry flavors and a candied rose nuance.  Fine-grained tannins add shape and structure to an impressively long, sweet finish.  I like this wine's marriage of power and finesse.
