About Araujo Estate
Since 1990, Bart and Daphne Araujo have carried on the tradition of making monster Cabernets from the Eisele Vineyard, adding Syrah into the mix as well. Their flagship bottling is dense, powerful and rich, typically with soil-inflected notes of plum, mocha, tobacco and smoke, and very suave tannins.

Grape Type: Bordeaux Blend
Origin: California
Region: Napa
92 Points | International Wine Cellar , May/June 2013
(a five-variety Bordeaux blend based on 81% cabernet sauvignon): Good dark red. Expressive aromas and flavors of plum, redcurrant, tobacco, hot stones, brown sugar and cedary oak. Sweet and fine-grained in the mouth, with sexy chocolate and mocha notes adding appeal. Spreads out generously on the ripely tannic aftertaste. A very impressive vintage for this bottling.
