Vivid ruby.  Sexy aromas of red berry preserves, cinnamon, star anise and rose, with a deeper incense quality in the background.  Juicy, incisive raspberry and bitter cherry flavors gain sweetness in the middle and pick up a subtle note of gingerbread.  The bitter quality adds bite to the precise, gently chewy finish.  I like this wine's structure.
