(blended with 4% cabernet franc and 2% petit verdot):  Classic cabernet aromas of cassis, licorice, minerals and violet.  Supple and sweet, with moderate nuance but good balance to the cassis and mint flavors.  Finishes with dusty tannins and good length.  Nicely done for the price--and there are 80,000 cases of this juice!

The nose has an initial hit of oak and vanilla, then fades to a slight green pepper aroma. I'd rate this an 86. I was hoping this might be an everyday drinker since the price has come down considerably from the lofty heights it achieved in more recent years.
