Bright ruby. Musky, floral-accented aromas of dried red berries and cherry, with wild herb and mocha nuances and a hint of star anise. Juicy, precise, deeply pitched cherry and redcurrant flavors pick up a darker character with air and show a smooth, velvety texture. Fine-grained tannins add shape and grip to the finish, which hangs on with excellent tenacity. This is a very good cellar candidate.
