(100% monastrell):  Bright ruby.  High-pitched aromas of red berries and spices, with a subtle note of violet.  Spicy and energetic on the palate, offering red berry and cracked pepper flavors that gain weight and sweetness with air.  Clean and nervy on the finish, which shows good clarity and a hint of bitter cherry.  This is an excellent value.
