(40% new oak):  Vivid ruby.  Bright, pungent scents of cherry-cola, floral oils, exotic oak spices, incense and minerals.  Concentrated but lively, with very good clarity to its sweet dark berry flavors.  Tangy mineral nuances enliven the wonderfully persistent finish, which features gentle tannins and a sexy floral pastille nuance.
