Bright medium ruby. Complex aromas of black cherry, blueberry, dark chocolate, mocha and licorice. Dense, fat and sweet, with a creaminess to the sweet, deep, fruit-dominated flavors. For a wine with 15.1% alcohol and a pH of 3.8, this shows surprisingly sound acidity. Has the stuffing to support its serious structure. Very long on the aftertaste.
