Vivid red.  Smoky cherry and red berry preserve aromas, with subtle tobacco, mocha and black tea qualities building with air.  Lively dark berry and bitter cherry flavors stain the palate, becoming deeper and sweeter on the back half.  The juicy finish features spice and bitter chocolate nuances and a whiplash of cherry.  Aeration benefited this wine tremendously.
