93 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - May/June 2011

Vivid ruby.  Flamboyant bouquet of raspberry, cherry-cola and potpourri, with exotic suggestions of gingerbread and star anise.  Then lush, velvety and seamless on the palate, with great inner-mouth energy and potent red berry compote flavors.  The alluringly sweet, expansive finish echoes the spicy note and features a jolt of bitter cherry.  Give this some air or, better yet, a few years of bottle age.
