(a 55/45 blend of syrah and merlot):  Glass-staining purple.  Seductive aromas of blackberry, cherry and licorice, with a hint of white pepper. Sweet and round on entry, displaying deep dark fruit flavors that are given definition by juicy acidity.  A firmly tannic finish features attractive floral lift and echoes the licorice note.  Quite youthful right now and in need of another couple years in the cellar.
