(just 10% new oak):  Deep ruby.  Complex, intensely floral bouquet of raspberry and cherry preserves, lavender and star anise, accented by a subtle smoky overtone.  Pliant and sappy, offering precise red fruit flavors that gain weight and intensity with air. The finish strongly echoes the floral and spice notes and clings with real tenacity and focus.
