Bright pale yellow. Aromas of acacia blossom, hazelnut and spearmint, with fruit currently in the background. Broader on entry and sweeter in the mid-palate than the Mays Canyon or Charles Heintz but a bit reduced today and not yet showing its personality. But spicy and tactile. This wine was kept in stainless steel barrels from September until the February bottling and needs time to harmonize its somewhat disjointed acidity.
