(15.8% alcohol; from a vineyard planted in the 1880s):  Medium red.  Aromas of maraschino cherry, licorice and pepper, with a slightly stewy cherry liqueur quality . A supple, sweet, fruit-driven style of zinfandel with moderate intensity and grip to its cherry and raspberry flavors.  In a soft style, finishing with light tannins and a slight dryness.
