(15.8% alcohol):  Good bright, dark red.  Aromas and flavors of black cherry, pepper and charcoal are complicated by pungent wild herbs and menthol.  Sweet, intense and firmly built; higher-pitched than the Old Crane Ranch but still smooth and fine-grained.  Finishes with a fine dusting of tannins and excellent length.  This would be great with a peppery steak.
