Bright yellow.  Expressive aromas of pear nectar, honey and lemon curd, with a hint of toasty lees.  Rich and fleshy on entry, then firmer in the mid-palate, offering bitter pear skin and peach flavors and subtle notes of citrus pith and candied ginger.  Finishes with very good clarity and spicy cut, with the pear note repeating.
