Bright, dark red.  Deep, brooding nose offers intense fruit aromas of blueberry, blackberry, crushed cherry and cool cranberry, complicated by root vegetables, crushed sage, menthol and earth.  Wonderfully aromatic and fruit-driven in the mouth, with terrific lift from floral and orange peel elements.  Nicely ripe, harmonious acidity here.  Finishes very long, with dusty tannins and a distinctly juicy quality.  This is sexy already but will age nicely.
