Bright, deep red.  Sexy, vibrant aromas of cherry, raspberry liqueur and clove.  Plush and sweet but also quite suave, with plenty of acidity to energize the rich flavors of strawberry, raspberry and spices.  Huge pinot noir (14.9% alcohol) with considerable power, but nonetheless shows the cooling influence of the year.  Finishes with big, broad, dusty tannins and excellent length.
