Bright ruby.  Dried cherry, anise and violet on the nose, with herbal and mineral notes adding complexity. Deeply pitched blackcurrant and bitter cherry flavors are enlivened by zesty acidity, picking up a floral quality in the mid-palate.  A sweet dark berry note lingers on the bright, penetrating finish.
