(40% each of carinena and syrah, plus 20% garnacha):  Ruby-red.  Red and dark berries, cherry-cola and tobacco on the spice-accented nose.  Taut, focused and elegant, with firm cherry and redcurrant flavors underscored by bitter chocolate and black pepper.  A bitter cherry skin note lingers on the tight, spicy finish.  No excess fat here.
