Dark ruby.  Pungent cherry and blackberry aromas, with hints of licorice and vanilla.  Ripe dark berry flavors are braced by racy acidity and show good depth and power.  Shows a touch of warmth on the finish, which features a vaguely jammy quality and good persistence.
