Very smooth and fruity

My wife absolutely loves this wine (and the 2009 vintage as well). She is very hard to please, but this wine goes with just about anything she prepares. My only regret is not buying more before it was sold out.
Great aroma, pleasing acidic taste, good earthy finish

Great aroma expected of a Cabernet sauvignon and franc, warm and berry (dark fruit), cocoa smell. Beautifully warm aroma is contrasted interestingly with an acidic, almost sour taste of dark fruits, ending with an earthy and mineral finish at front of palate and tongue. Great and interesting wine. Decant for an hour, otherwise, meet a powerfully sour-driven taste. This wine is rather thin-medium bodied, definitely not full bodied or very well balanced. (More front palate sourness/flavorfullness)
