Bright ruby-red.  High-pitched aromas of raspberry and redcurrant, with a peppery note gaining strength with air.  A juicy, taut midweight that shows good energy and elegance for a ripe vintage, picking up a floral note with air.  Conveys a slight bitterness on the finish, which clings with good tenacity and lingering spiciness.
