90 Points | International Wine Cellar , September/October 2011

($33; 100% pinot bianco) Good, pale green-tinged straw. Bright yellow apple, pear and white flowers on the nose, along with a whiff of talcum powder. Open-knit apple, citrus and nectarine flavors on the palate, supported by a mineral undertone. Sharply focused citrus and mineral flavors repeat on the long, minerally finish. Insiders know that Ignaz Niedrist makes some of the purest versions of Alto Adige whites, and his reds are pretty good too.
