Outstanding Sauvignon Blanc

A citrus monster. If I hadn't seen the label I'd swear it was from New Zeeland of course that is forgetting who inspired them year Loire! Violet and lemons on the nose, massive thick legs, mouth filling lemon and flowers with a lovely persistant flavor.
Nice alternative to New Zealand

Beautiful sauvignon blanc with brilliant fruit and a silky finish. I don't know if I have had a better Sauvignon blanc at any price !
Another terrific wine from Ricard

Beautiful golden yellow, with good nose. Went well with fish, but the body and character also suggest pasta with artichokes and/or poblano peppers and white sauce. Another terrific wine from Ricard.
Clean and fresh

I am the white wine drinker in our hosehold and am always on the look out for non-Chardonnay wines.
I enjoyed the crisp, clean flavor with the non-oaky smell and taste.
Day Three Tangerine

Very pleasurable now. Pretty nose combines tropical fruits and a subtle floral note. Rich on the palate with fruit flavors dominating (apples, hint of lime on day 1; rich, decadent tangerine by day 3). Underlying aciditiy and stone notes just enough to keep it clean on the finish and from going flabby. Bought this with the 2012 Daulny Sancerre Le Clos. Totallly different styles. The Daulny has brisk acidity and a stong saline component. Comparatively, the Daulny is demanding and, I think, will ultimately be more rewarding. In the meantime, Les Trois Chenes is hedonistic delight right now.

This was not a very good wine. It had a sour taste. So much so that I wondered if it had deteriorated in shipping
