90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - September/October 2012

(75% garnatxa and 25% carinyena; 15% alcohol):  Dark ruby.  Musky aromas and flavors of ripe dark berries, cherry and mocha, with licorice and mineral overtones.  Sappy and smooth in texture, with sneaky tannins adding grip to a long, sweet, vanilla-accented finish.  This wine should drink well on the young side, say in the next few years.
