About Domaine Francois Raveneau
Named for its original proprietor, who, sadly, left us in 2000, Domaine Francois Raveneau is a goliath in Chablis. Raveneau's two sons, Bernard & Jean-Marc, now continue the family tradition, maintaining a commitment to natural wine.
89 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - July/August 2012
(sealed with a DIAM cork): Pale yellow. Exotic aromas of peach and licorice. Rich, sweet and fat with fruit, showing a saline complexity to the soft citrus flavors. Creamy in the middle and delicious already. This gentle, ripe village wine finishes with very good length.
