About Domaine William Fevre
Fevre was once good. Now it's great. In fact, the improvement of this house is one of the most exciting developments in Chablis in the past 20 years. The ownership of the Henriot family of Champagne, which also owns Bouchard Père et Fils in Beaune, has resulted in a striking transformation.
2010 Domaine William Fevre Chablis Valmur
Producer: Domaine William Fevre
Style: White Wine
Grape Type: Chardonnay
Origin: France
Region: Burgundy
Appellation: Chablis
91 Points | International Wine Cellar , July/August 2012
Bright, pale, green-tinged yellow. Aromas of grapefruit pith and tarragon, complemented by a smoky brothy note. Supple, silky and round, with a subtle sweetness to the lemon, stone and floral flavors. A classically smooth Valmur with very good length, but I wanted a bit more grip and personality for grand cru.
