About Louis Michel & Fils
In six generations of winemaking here in Chablis, the Michel family has developed a no nonsense approach. You won't find the distracting presence of oak in these immaculate Chardonnays, because no wood is used in their cellaring.
2010 Louis Michel & Fils Chablis Les Clos
Producer: Louis Michel & Fils
Style: White Wine
Grape Type: Chardonnay
Origin: France
Region: Burgundy
Appellation: Chablis
93(+?) Points | International Wine Cellar , July/August 2012
Subtle, complex aromas of orange blossom, peach and iodine. Highly concentrated and gripping, with a fine-grained texture and restrained fruit. Most impressive today on the very subtle but ultimately palate-staining finish, which features a whiplash of citrus flavor and outstanding saline persistence. This classic Chablis should go on for 15 or 20 years and may ultimately merit an even higher score.
