Fevre was once good. Now it's great. In fact, the improvement of this house is one of the most exciting developments in Chablis in the past 20 years. The ownership of the Henriot family of Champagne, which also owns Bouchard Père et Fils in Beaune, has resulted in a striking transformation.

Pale yellow-green.  Very closed but pure nose is dominated by flinty, smoky minerality, with fruit in the deep background.  Boasts lovely texture and sucrosite, with terrific cut to its juicy lemon and stone flavors.  A bit less austere and closed than the Vaudesir but this is classic, mineral-driven, Kimmeridgian Chablis.  Finishes with outstanding intensity and persistence.
