About Domaine William Fevre
Fevre was once good. Now it's great. In fact, the improvement of this house is one of the most exciting developments in Chablis in the past 20 years. The ownership of the Henriot family of Champagne, which also owns Bouchard Père et Fils in Beaune, has resulted in a striking transformation.
2010 Domaine William Fevre Chablis
Producer: Domaine William Fevre
Style: White Wine
Grape Type: Chardonnay
Origin: France
Region: Burgundy
Appellation: Chablis
88-89 Points | International Wine Cellar , July/August 2011
(to have been bottled in mid-June): Pale green-tinged color. Aromas of lime, green apple and ginger, plus a whiff of dusty minerality. A step up in richness and texture from the Champs Royaux, but with nice spicy lift to the flavors of lime and fresh herbs. Finishes with good saline length and grip.
