(Verget was 20 years old in 1989; mostly from La Butte and Milly):  Light-medium yellow.  Lemon, lime, spices and dusty stone on the nose, lifted by a whiff of lavender.  Classy, gripping Chablis, with good cut and lift to its white peach and stone flavors.  Nicely building finish.  An excellent village wine.
