Vivid ruby-red.  Heady aromas of candied red berries, rose and spicecake, with subtle mineral and smoke notes adding complexity.  Juicy and precise on the palate, offering sappy raspberry and gingerbread flavors and a deeper cola nuance.  Fine-grained tannins add shape and grip to the long, smoky, spice-accented finish.  This drinks very well now, with some air.
