Deep ruby.  Cherry-cola, dark berries, violet and spices on the nose, with a subtle herbal quality and a touch of cracked pepper.  Dense but energetic, offering powerful black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors that are firmed by dusty minerals.  Tannins build on the finish, which is long, sappy and well-focused.  A few years of bottle age should be beneficial to this wine.,
