Pale yellow.  Complex, highly perfumed nose offers lime pith, dried pear, ginger and minerals, plus a touch of white pepper.  Racy, sharply focused and very pure, offering concentrated citrus and green apple flavors and a note of bitter quinine.  Finishes nervy and long, with impressive thrust and clarity.  This wine's dense minerality bodes well for aging.
