89(+?) Points | International Wine Cellar , November/December 2011

Moderately saturated medium red.  Reserved aromas of crushed redcurrant, cherry, mint and licorice complicated by leather and underbrush.  Juicy and intense, with excellent acidity lending freshness and verve to the sweet red fruit flavors.  Really spreads out on the back end.  This very young nebbiolo is structured to age and may merit an outstanding rating with four or five years in the cellar.  This was raised in all used tonneaux "to privilege the fruit."
