(60% grenache and 40% syrah):  Deep ruby.  Dark berries and woodsmoke on the nose.  Lush and broad on entry, then tighter in the middle, offering bitter cherry and cracked pepper flavors and a touch of tart berry skin.  Finishes with good clarity and bite.
