Bright yellow.  Shy, mineral-dominated nose.  Then rich and chewy in the mouth, with terrific concentration and a powerful impression of dusty saline minerality.  Opened quickly in the glass to show hints of exotic fruits and toast.  Most impressive today on the resoundingly long, tactile, rising finish, which stains the palate with dusty minerality.  A superb premier cru with a distinct small-berry character.  From vines planted in 1964 that yielded only about 42 hectoliters per hectare in 2010, according to Tribut.
